The Brooklyn Artists Exhibition

The Brooklyn Artists Exhibition was presented as part of the museum’s 200th anniversary, bringing together over two hundred artists across disciplines to reflect the breadth of contemporary creative practice in Brooklyn.Selected through a combination of invitation and a public open call that received nearly 4,000 applications, the exhibition highlights themes of identity, migration, memory, and collective care. The works on view offer a portrait of a diverse and evolving artistic community shaped by experimentation, resilience, and shared cultural exchange.
