A visual exploration of Yoruba cosmological adornment through the symbolic crown. The series positions the crown as a site of spiritual authority, matriarchal power, and resistance to colonial narratives of African visual culture. The work pays homage to Adélakùn’s last name – the crown that traverses through the forest.
